Herbs are a loose grouping of
plants that don’t really fit into the categories of fruit, vegetables, nuts or
seeds... but could be one or all of the above. They tend to be very useful
plants often having a myriad of uses including culinary, medicinal and/or
spiritual. Common herbs that we all might recognise include Basil, Thyme and
Rosemary. But other lesser known herbs such as Comfrey, Wormwood and Angelica
also have a role to play. This section of the TSH website is
dedicated to the myriad of herbs and their uses. Initially we will cover the
more common/useful herbs but later I hope to include a discussion of some of
the medicinal herbs that are a little less well known. Note: If you have a favourite herb, and it isn't mentioned below, then feel free to submit an article to TSH for inclusion. If you'd like to comment on any of the articles, then please use the link to the forums provided on each article so we can all share in each other’s knowledge.
