Propagation Table |

Over the past couple of weeks the temperature has begun to rise, in fact it reached 37.2⁰C (99⁰F) so far. The biggest draw-back of this has been keeping up the water to the germinating plants. Actually I planted 24 tubes (each) of Pigeon Pea and Tagasaste, and due to drying out only 12 of the pigeon pea have managed to sprout. So today, I took the time to build a temporary propagation table which will automatically water the seedlings, and ensure that they don't dry out again. This way I can replant those Tagasaste with confidence! The table was created using a cheap portable plastic table, a little treated pine decking, and some galvanised wire. You can see the completed table on the below video. |
